Amiga Breaks

You can’t get anymore old skool than Amiga Breaks! Smashing out tunes on his Amiga 1200 this guy makes some absolute tunes with that real 90’s sound that makes the hair on your arms stand straight to attention.

He’s unfortunately had an issue with SoundCloud where they deleted his account for no apparent reason, we can only assume because his tunes are too damn good! Make sure to follow his new account and keep keen for his upcoming release on 3NEZ001.

On the music scene in Nottingham since around 2006, he started off producing Dubstep on Reason. He always loved going down to Blueprint, the legendary underground club of Nottingham to nights such as Lobotomy, Kombination Funk, Psycle, Rigor Mortis, Pure Filth and later on Rubberdub. He’d then go on to run the Hard DNB night, Karma alongside king slaFF and Quakerr. It’s this constant mash of various musical styles that would eventually lead him to settle down into his own style of production that hangs somewhere between Breakbeat Hardcore and Ravecore. With a few releases heading out on LLTA, he is now looking out to bring back the rave to Nottingham

GL0WKiD, hailing from the lovely sunny Greece writes for both Nu-Rave.com and Strictly Nuskool Blog, actively reposts up some of the best tracks coming out of the scene onto his SoundCloud page (below) as well as keenly updating his Prodigy Fanboy website. If you don’t already know about GL0WKiD and the work he does for the scene, go and check him out!
